Hi everyone!
Wow...my day was finally here...bootcamp day!!!! It was 4 or 5 months in the making but once we arrived at the Stadium I knew it was all going to be worth it, and it was. When we arrived there on Saturday morning after a nice 25 min drive and some great conversation and a short rant at the end it was time to go inside. Walking through those doors with Paul was an awesome feeling. All those rough days that I had were a memory now. I was on top of the world. I was afraid that would could to a crashing hault once I entered the Studio to find out the computer or projector didn't work but have no fear that didn't happen. I got to introduce Paul and this time I hope I made right what I messed up in Canmore. I made sure to tell everyone that it was my second bootcamp with Paul and that it was his first bootcamp that inspired me to start my weight loss. I didn't tell the Canmore girls that and it has bothered me ever since. Of course I said I had a weight loss but never stated how much until Paul told me to tell everyone. He even asked if I had my before and after picture with me. I didn't as it wasn't my computer. The rest of the event went perfectly! The only thing I had to do was move some plugs so Paul didn't trip over them as that would have been really bad! The room was only booked for a certain period of time and then we had to leave. There wasn't much of a plan b in place but we found a spot at the end of the hall where we all gathered to chat, ask for advice, and get pictures done. The good thing was even though it wasn't a great spot Paul made the best of it and never complained once. I was invited to go out for lunch and back to Evolve Fitness but unfortuantly I had other comments that afternoon so I had to leave. After our goodbye's I left that Stadium with my head held higher than ever before. I had just gone through one of the best times of my life. I pulled it off!! I freaking pulled it off!! I wasn't 100% sure what Paul would think but in my mind everything went well. Later that evening I sent Paul an email thanking him for coming out and the email I got in return blew my mind!! Not only did he say I did awesome (which is all I ever wanted to hear) but he said he would certainly work with me again and asked me to be his East Coast Connection and to set up other events for him. WOW....not only did this turn out well but I have been given the opportunity to do it all over again. I have to admit that I am not sure if the second time will be as personal for me as this time was but rest assured I will put my 110% effort into again and I look forward to getting started. To all those who helped me, supported me, told me I wasn't a failure (Sandra and Leona...I still have those emails and looked at them many times) I couldn't have made it happen without you! I met some great ladies durning this event and I look forward to lasting friendships for sure. Paul, thanks for letting me run with this. I gave you the opportunity at least twice to back out and you never did (I don't even know if you realized that's what I was doing). If I keep working with you my confidence will be at 100% in no time. :) And finally to Graham who never let me believe I was going to fail, who when push came to shove was there taping posters to poles with me, and spending time at the Stadium at the last minute to make sure everything would work on my big day... I couldn't have done it without your love and support. You are the best and I love you with all my heart!! Now let's focus on vacation before I come home and do it all over again for PEI! :) xoxoxo
